We headed to Hilton Head on Friday morning for our first family vacation! We would have preferred Charleston, BUT we used our Starwood points and there are no Starwood hotels in Charleston....so Hilton Head it was! On Friday we arrived shortly after lunch (Elsie was a gem for the car ride there) and roamed around the resort a little while before settling into our room. We headed to the Old Oyster Factory for crab legs and fish! Yummo :) Of course we had to stick to the schedule, so we were home, bathed, fed and in the pack and play by 7:30 (we ate with the old folks every night!) On Saturday, we got up around 8, ate, played and while Elsie was napping Scott was working and I was getting some "alone time" reading a book and catching rays!! Around noon, Elsie and Daddy came down and E went swimming for the first time! She was a pro and didn't make a peep! After lunch by the pool we headed out to the beach for Elsie's nap. I got a pop up tent and she napped for 2 hours! PERFECT! Mommy and Daddy got to throw the football, read and chat for quite a while! After catching the tail end of the Masters on Saturday night, we headed out for pizza. Sunday morning was a repeat of the day before....but just before lunch we went on a bike ride. Daddy had E strapped in the Baby Boujrn and we headed off for a half hour or so! Again, laid back E loved the wind in her hair!! After lunch we popped the tent by the pool and read (and of course eavesdropped in on a few convos around us for a good laugh). MASTERS SUNDAY....headed up to see what what happening! We wanted to get one more night of seafood, so we called a couple places until we found with a TV so we could catch the end of the match. So exciting....one of these days I will get to Augusta to see it for myself! This morning we got up early to get back....the car ride home was not nearly as good as the one going! We had a restful, wonderful time on our first vacation as a family. The pics are in random order...enjoy!

What a fun trip!!! Is that a normal tent or some kind of baby thing?
