Seacrest Beach: Day 1

We got to the beach a little after lunch on Tuesday! We settled in the house, rented bikes, hit the grocery and then headed to dinner!!

We rode our bikes to this little restaurant in Alys Beach (next to Seacrest Beach) for dinner. We were the first to arrive right at 5:00...dinner was delicious and super fresh!

Elsie had her very first ride in a bike trailer...she liked it but kept trying to lick the window!!

Our dinner ended with a beautiful rainbow on the way home!!

Family Vacation

Just got back from the beach....pics to come!!!

My little rascal is 8 months old!!!

It's official.....she is 8 months and into everything!!! I have been saying the word "NO" a lot these last couple weeks and when I do she turns and uses those big eyes and bats those eyelashes as if to say in her best Scarlet O'Hara voice "Why Mommy, whatever do you mean?" Then she goes right back to whatever she was into!!! Oh boy.....let the fun begin!!!

First shoes

Yea!!! Our first pair of shoes :) My aunt would be horrified that they are not white.....because according to her and most southern ladies, children should only wear white shoes! Well....we think these are awfully cute so we hope she never finds out!!!!

Funny story....a couple weeks back I ordered a pair of sandals in a size one that she could wear now and another pair in a size 2 that she could wear in the fall. Well.....see below at how they arrived!
