A baby girl is on the way.....

Today was our 20 week ultrasound and we finally decided to learn the sex of the little one!  Both Scott and I were convinced that we were having a little boy.....but we were both surprised to find out a sweet little girl will be here in December!  Now.....the "name" game begins!!!

Lake Oconee

OK.....so I am going to have to get better at taking pictures when this little one arrives.  I will just tell about our trip since I did not take any pictures.  Some might think I forgot my camera.  Oh no, it was in my purse the whole time.  I was just so excited to not be throwing up that I totally forgot to "capture" the weekend!  We headed up to the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee (only because Scott works for an investment firm that owns that hotel and we got a discounted rate) on Sunday after church.  I have seen the Ritz from the lake and viewed the website many times.....but WOW!  neither of those did it justice.  We were waited on hand and foot for 26 hours!  We spent time by the pool,  playing golf, eating, eating, and EATING (which I have not done much of in the last 13 weeks).  The grounds were beautiful and if one can afford it I would so recommend a weekend getaway.  They extended checkout time on Monday so we could leave anytime we wanted!  We headed home around 4:30 after one more nap in the most comfortable bed ever!  What a nice way to end a school year :)

Baby Denbow

Most of you already know....but we wanted to offically announce the arrival of Baby Denbow!  He/She is planned to arrive in early December.  I have been feeling icky with "all day" sickness and am praying for that to end soon!  We had our 12 week appointment today and were able to hear the heartbeat!  How exciting :)  We had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat as well as the little "sweet pea".   Praise God for new life!!!

OK.....I know it has been months since I have updated our blog.  I am terrible--I know!  Not much exciting around here...and when anything exciting happens I seem to have misplaced my camera.  I have captured a few pictures of Charlie that really show off his personality!  He is the craziest dog I have ever know---we love him to death!  Enjoy a good laugh :)
